Hosted Office Communications Server lets colleagues and team members see each other’s presence status and instantly connect with each other through a secure and auditable internal company instant messaging system or through a PC-to-PC voice connection. Outlook 2010 now has a ribbon user interface, like Word, PowerPoint and Excel. The User Interface of email conversations has been upgraded to look almost like a message tree, allowing users a more visual view of sent and incoming emails. Also, you can preview calendars in emails and choose to ignore select email conversations. Finally, you have one inbox for all forms of conversation: e-mail, voicemail, instant message, or faxes. Search functionality has been improved as well, making it much easier to find content in these different forms of media.
Calendars and contacts can be shared with colleagues to enable easy scheduling for meetings. Microsoft SharePoint provides access via any web browser to the key documents and information.
